Humid World

A large, rocky planet with a high water content orbiting close to its parent star. The intense heat causes the vast water deposits to be present in the form of atmospheric water vapor. Large storms frequently send acid rain formed in the carbon-rich atmosphere down to the surface where it evaporates almost as quickly as it touches the ground. No life is present here but the planet's surface, although hostile, is geologically very interesting with impressive, unusual rock formations carved by unique climatic erosion.
